a few words about us
Over a decade of proven advancement for youth basketball in skills, confidence, performance and achievement.
GameTymers was founded in 2003 and is a year-round program focused in training and developing competitive student athletes. Our goal is to offer a program for boys and girls ages 8-17 residing in the San Fernando Valley to achieve excellence in the game of basketball. We offer basketball skill development, sports performance training, exceptional coaching, and competitive experiences, giving our players the best opportunity to reach their basketball goals. Dedication, respect, discipline, leadership, and teamwork are important components of our philosophy.
GameTymers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and provides financial assistance to players who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in a structured athletic youth organization.
GameTymers' mission is to enable youth boys and girls to participate in the game of basketball in a safe and character-building environment. GameTymers promotes the teaching of basketball fundamentals and high-caliber basketball play through skills clinics, camps, league play, tournament play, and private training. We continue to demonstrate our ability to train and develop our players using proper fundamentals as well as the latest offensive and defensive drills and techniques.
Long Term Goals:
To provide a positive “Team First” experience
To develop confidence, character, and commitment in student-athletes
To compete successfully at all levels
To support student-athletes who seek to play high school basketball or beyond
GameTymers has highly skilled coaches with extensive experience teaching and training basketball at all levels. All of our coaches understand the process of building teams, promoting player development and have a strong sense of fundamentals in the game of basketball.
